Did you see any of Oprah Winfrey and her friend Gayle's road trip adventure this summer? They drove from L.A. to NYC over 11 days this summer. Anyway, they stopped at a place very much like this (this exact place, maybe?), booked wigwams for the night, but had to leave shortly after checking in because the wigwams weren't up to Oprah's standards. What I'm trying to say is it seems you didn't miss much by not staying there.
Great account of a great adventure...an old friend is enjoying this great retelling of your journey from far, far away. Here's hoping you can re-create it one day.
