I came back to camp today after my shopping trip to find Grandma under the palapa playing bingo with the other caravaners. She managed to win three pots, which may cover our expenses for the entire trip. I am attributing the good fortune to her hair curlers, which she left in for most of the day.

I am missing you all and feeling a little homesick. If you could post an "hola" in the comments it would be a welcome surprise.

Take care, Bill.

Bill,
Not much longer and you will be "airstreaming" up I-5!!!
We are so enjoying your trip through your blog!!! You may be homesick, but we will be depressed after your trip because there will be nothing to read!!!
I would like to hear more about Lareto when you get back as well as the rest of your trip.
Take care and thank you for keeping us all updated on your trip!

Denise

P.S. Looking forward to a copy of that shrimp recipe.

I've been so enjoying your blog--what an adventure you are having!

Remember what John Steinbeck said in Travels with Charley--"we don't take a trip, a trip takes us."

Kueser,

We are all "here" through your fascinating blog. Thanks so much for taking us with you! Your comments and photos are amazingly insightful (no surprise there!). You really should turn your blog into a book for additional coverage...

You are sorely missed around here!

Keep on keepin' on!!

Maddie

P.S. The picture of you with Grandma is hot :)

Hola Guillermo-
Yes, we miss you but there is not a thing going on here that is more important that what you're doing. I think anyone here would instantly drop what they're doing to play bingo, eat fish tacos, chase golf balls in kayak and wear an EAT MY TAIL t-shirt. A big part of your trip is still ahead and you may feel less homesick once you're back in the US visiting with Billie Jean and the rest of the Kuesers while Mabel spins tales of her clever, fearless grandson. Don't forget that little baby niece you get to see. (She should be at that Fat Little Cherub stage when you get there.) Then its smooth sailing all the way back to Seattle on paved roads with Rest Areas where you can flush the toilet paper. You, Mabel and Sarah all look fantastic in the photos and we are green with envy. You'll be home before you know it. Just stay between the lines, use your sunscreen and enjoy where you are because the time will fly. You are greatly missed but we've managed not to burn down the building. Keep blogging, we need something to talk about at the next meeting.

Bill! I've been meaning to write and tell you how much I've been enjoying taking your trip with you. However, while you're out enjoying the sun, the food, and the colorful people of MX, I'm chained to my desk watching my ass continue to spread. Your pictures and stories are wonderful. Keep it up. We do really miss you here on 34, and really look forward to seeing your tanned, smiling face back here. Keep on truckin', Dude, and keep the blog going. Hugs,

Sue B.

Bill,

You may feel home sick, but certainly not work sick I am sure. It is bustling here as ever. Continue to embrace the warm weather and the even warmer memories you are creating in this sun/surf experience, it is truly a trip of a lifetime.

Sounds as though you are much more relaxed and some of the stress of the beginning of the trip has melted away--that's what we wish for you. Your Grandma is full of life and it sounds as if you and her and the pup have shared some real adventures.

Have a margarita for me (two if nobody is counting). Wishing you more splendid adventures around every corner, enjoy.
